How to Stay Alive in the Woods
Platform Gallery, Seattle, WA , June 20 - July 27, 2013

Untitled Worktable, exhibited as part of How to Stay Alive in the Woods, Is made from a process of damage and repair in which the object's experiential history is part of the work. The result can be seen as exploring the role the body plays in shaping the mind, a thought map of embodied cognition in which the viewer is invited to participate in its sense of unresolved not-knowing. It also considers the "work" of art - that of trying to put forth desires, or wishes to the universe.
